GA Bikes Pocket Guide

Georgiabikes.org has produced a pocket guide for law enforcement officers summarizing and illustrating GA's bicycle laws. It's useful for cops and cyclists. I printed the PDF file and will cut, fold and tape a copy to keep in my duffel bag. Some of the illustrations are used in the Powerpoint presentation which they propose as part of a training program for law enforcement officers. Relevant sec...raining course.

The 3' law and other aspects of bike safety were touted at the recent Ride of Silence and Bike To Work Day events here in Columbus GA. I hope this post helps make the points to everyone, everywhere. Everybody stay safe and keep on rolling!

Lots of options.

Bear in mind that by storing energy you'll not be converting something into a "more efficient form" but usually into something less stable but able to do work.
You could compress air. That requires a tank, and something pneumatic to run. It's also very inefficient (50% on the high end).
You could generate Hydrogen. It fills up tanks very quickly (even though the contents barely weigh...that they're able to get a better fuel and a better offgas. If you generate enough steam you can convert methane into syngas (it's called steam reforming), which can be made into any petroleum fuel your heart desires (Fischer-Tropsch method); bear in mind that this is extremely energy-intensive and you'll probably never make it work economically.
Whatever you do, don't blow yourself up, k?

You aren't any cloudier than Germany.

PV doesn't need sunny days (though they help). PV just needs light. Even that gloomy, overcast, dim light you have out where you live works. Yes, even in winter.
With a glut of cheap hydro and the worst light in the lower 48, it's probably the last place I'd put solar in, but nonetheless, it's smarter than putting it in 1000 miles away and putting the infrastructure in to move the power to where you are.
The reason I mentioned Germany, as you may have guessed, is they have many times more solar installed than the United States, despite their less-than-ideal light conditions.

Yourself anything you like. Doesn't mean you actually are any of them. You're a shameless bigot who full-heartedly believes in remaining dependent on fossil fuels and foreign oil. You only come here to try to lie or convince people of things that aren't true. For example, that you are an expert on alt. energy or nuclear power plant component terminology or drive a Lotus. In reality, you know very little about alt. energy or nuclear power plants, compared to your beloved coal plants, and drive a Toyota Matrix. You should be tested some more.
